Our Grade 2 learners had a great time in their Unit of Inquiry How We Organise Ourselves. They explored how food is prepared and processed before it reaches us, and we brought that learning to life by making sandwiches together in class.

Students looked closely at the journey of simple ingredients like bread, tomatoes, and cheese and connected it to our central idea: Food goes through many processes from field to table.

The kids learned about systems, responsibility, and teamworkโ€ฆ and enjoyed a tasty snack at the end!
